Shop F.A.Q.s

I don't see what I'm looking for, where can I find it?

Our Etsy shop is stocked with thousands of items, but we’ve always got hundreds more, so if you’re looking for something please feel free to ask!

How can I contact you?

The best way to get in touch with me personally is an Instagram DM (@shawnakouvadreamcatchers). I reply to Etsy messages. You can also e-mail me at kouvadreamcatchers@gmail.com, though it is the slowest way to get in touch with me.

When will my order be shipped?

My processing time is usually 1-2 business days. Most orders are sent in 1 business day. This is the time is takes for me to pick, pack and send the order. We ship on MOST weekday mornings, though sometimes I take a long weekend or go out of town, or unfortunately even have a sick day. I try to keep processing times in my Etsy shop accurate to reflect any time away. We do not ship on US holidays, weekends or Christmas Eve.

When will my order arrive?

After processing, USPS Ground Advantage takes approximately 2-7 days, or you can pay to upgrade to Priority Mail which takes about 1-3 days.Shipping times are not guaranteed by USPS so I cannot guarantee them. If you need an order by a certain time, please message me to ask before placing your order. This way I can make sure that you are choosing the correct shipping method, and you can purchase a “RUSH MY ORDER” on Etsy if I am available to ship right away. The best way to get what you need on time is always to reach out and talk to me before buying.

How are packages shipped?

I ship using boxes, of many sizes. I use mostly paper, crushed to support the wrapped items on every side and keep the box from getting crushed. For more delicate items, some bubble wrap or foam may be used in wrapping the item and fulling any voids in clusters, geodes, carvings etc (all re-used, I do not buy plastic or styrofoam shipping materials) and then paper - tissue paper, newsprint, or Kraft paper depending on the weight of items and overall order. Too much bubble wrap with heavy items can pop from their weight, leaving space for items to move and break, where paper stays in place. We have very few broken items about 2-3 per year at most. If you buy heavy and delicate items together, we will use multiple boxes within the box to keep them safe. I pack everything so that it can be safely thrown across your yard because let’s face it - it might happen!

We ship mostly USPS, ground advantage for most “free shipping” packages and priority shipping if an upgrade is purchased. You can always pay for shipping upgrades, or add a signature requirement. Very large or heavy boxes may be sent via Fedex or UPS for safer handling and lower shipping rates.
